Grand Theft Auto Coming To The Nintendo Wii?

Posted under Wii News by admin on Thursday 25 June 2009 at 12:14 PM

The huge franchise Grand Theft Auto has been released onto every major console out there, including the Nintendo DS with the release of Chinatown Wars. However, GTA has yet to see the light of day on the Nintendo Wii. Well, Ben Feder, CEO of Take-Two, sheds some light on this subject. Here’s his response…

Nintendo’s been a terrific partner for us. We always look at ways in which we can bring our games to platforms that make sense for our games. We’re eager to work with Nintendo to bring our games to their platforms. We just haven’t yet defined the right title for the right platform.

We’re not really told a whole lot here. I can’t imagine a reason why they wouldn’t want GTA on the Nintendo Wii. It has the largest install base of the three consoles. Only time will tell. Hang in there Wii lovers!

Shia Labeouf DISSES The Nintendo Wii

Posted under Nintendo Wii, Video Games, Wii News by admin on Monday 22 June 2009 at 5:29 PM

Shia Labeouf

Shia Labeouf was interviewed by Big Download. In the interview he talks about his history with gaming.

I’ve been a fan of Labeouf ever since Even Stevens. However, this interview just goes to show how arrogant the actor really is. Seriously, who is he kidding?

Here are a few quotes I picked out from the interview that any Nintendo Wii fan should find amusing…

(BD) – What’s the last game that really impressed you?

(Shia) – Sid Meier’s Civilization.

(BD) – You play everything including real-time strategy?

(Shia) – Buddy, I’m a gamer. Not just the fake ones you read about.

(BD) – Have you checked out the Wii Transformers game?

(Shia) – I haven’t been able to play the Wii game because my hand is broken. I’ve just been playing Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I would imagine that the Wii experience will be like… I don’t mess with the Wii, to be honest with you. It’s kind of an amateur console. I’m not into the Wii thing.

(BD) – What’s wrong with the Wii?

(Shia) – This is how in a simple way you can find out if it’s a gamer you want to play with. Ask them if they have a Wii. If they say yes, get the f*** out of there.

I don’t think Shia would know what a real gamer looked like if he had one staring him in the face. Notice how he uses his hand as an excuse to not play the Wii, but he has no problem playing the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.

DJ Hero Wii – Monstrous New Game From Activision

Posted under Nintendo Wii, Wii Game Previews, Wii Game Releases, Wii News by admin on Saturday 20 June 2009 at 9:30 PM

After the huge success and numerous million gross revenue from the Guitar Hero series made by Activision, they have decided to publish another Hero series feature, but this one is made more for R&B, rap and different types of dance music. It is Wii DJ hero for the Nintendo Wii, a turntable controller dependent, beat & music game from Activision. If you bought, seen or know the games from the Hero series like Guitar Hero, which made a tremendous success in gross sales, then this new DJ version game will be in the same quality standards that we got used to in the Hero series and will bring participants a feel of being a club DJ star.

That’s not the only DJ wannabe game to be released this year. Konami will be publishing the Beatmania game that is pretty close to the DJ Hero Wii game. But, the Activision game should give a near reality experience with a high quality mixing like music, that will give the dance floor music amateur their high BPM dosage. Other stimulating better features are the exclusive new songs from Eminem & Jay-Z that were made solely for this DJ Hero game

Activision claims that the game is about spinning, remixing and playing like a DJ as if you are making a gang of dance lovers, that enjoy that kind of music that you hear in a club and dance their brains out. The game will include song genres like Rap, R&B and hip-hop, different genres of dance music that usually will be preferred by the club goers and others that are partisans of this rhythm of sound.

Two other glamorous features are the freestyle mode that will bring you the opportunity of spinning and mixing that is just like the professionals. This is the chance to realize the dream of becoming a DJ.

The second exciting feature is 10 songs that are played both with the turntable controller of the DJ Hero game and with the guitar controller from the Guitar Hero game. This will permit the fans of rap, metal and rock metal to play dance style music with electric guitar tracks.

DJ Hero will be available for Nintendo Wii, PS2, playstation and Xbox 360 at the end of October 2009.

The latest rumors that are going around the net are that both the developers and the distribution companies want to have uniformed Hero gameplay experience by incorporating all the controls of old and upcoming Hero games in the future games. This means that you will be able to play with the guitar, turntable, drums and microphone.

Read Important Tips About The Wii Homebrew Installer

5 Reasons Why the Wii Homebrew Installer is better then your regular chip in your Wii.

There are so many ways to hack the Wii console these days, and if i might say, it’s rather confusion with all these chips, mods and other extras. This is why I’m sure that the Wii Homebrew Installer is the best and simplest way to hack the Wii with no headaches involved.

These are some of the major reasons why it’s better for you to get the Wii Homebrew Installer:

1. Wii Homebrew Installer doesn’t need to be implemented in the actual hardware of the Wii which means your warranty stays intact and there’s no complicated wiring to be done. This should save you both money and effort because I am guessing you’re not a technician, and even if you, are which I highly doubt, you don’t want to start opening up your brand new console and start soldiering stuff up taking the chance something will go wrong.

Koopa Kids New Super Mario Bros.

New Super Mario Bros. looks to be a multiplayer experience. Graphics look really kinetic, and heavily inspired by the smooth animations like that of New Super Mario Bros. from the Nintendo DS, only a bit more polished. The stage looks just like the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES…

Some of Nintendo Wii’s Most Playful Games

Posted under Nintendo Wii, Wii Game Reviews, Wii News by admin on Friday 29 May 2009 at 2:48 AM
<p>Nintendo made some of the best classic games, but give these a try and see why they can still work.

Gunstar Heroes
First released in 1993, this quirky game is well-loved for its exciting running and shooting action and its non-stop intense gameplay. You’ll also like the game’s manga-style look and the guns that could be mixed and matched to create your very own custom-designed shooter. Choose from a flamethrower, a homing shot, a machine gun and a laser. But no matter how big your gun gets, your enemies either multiply or get bigger themselves, so you never run out of challenges.

If you enjoyed the arcade games of the past like Street Fighter II and Contra, you’ll like this game even better. The levels, thankfully enough, are brief so you’re not stuck with long-winding stages of mindless gunplay. Two players can also play simultaneously.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion
If you’ve played Trauma Center before, you’ve probably met Dr. Derek Stiles, who just completed his residency. The story progresses through text dialogue and still images, but it’s interesting enough with the incorporation of some serious material, like euthanasia to suicidal patients. As Dr. Derek Stiles, you are gifted with the Healing Touch.

In the world you will inhabit, forces that point to bioterrorism are threatening the world with an epidemic. You will be performing surgery on patients, although it’s not as gory as you might think. You get to use a multiple array of surgical tools through the analog stick of the Wii’s nunchuk attachment. And it’s not just about surgery. You do have to mind your patient’s health – if their heart stops, you have to do something. This game isn’t easy so you’ll be challenged throughout.
