It looks like the Wii is getting a top-notch peripheral courtesy of Nyko, the Nyko Wand. It is a third party Wiimote that does things slightly different. Mainly in use of it’s “Trans-Port” technology. Basically, the technology allows the vibration to be carried over to attachments, ie. a pistol grip or other add-on. f you own any attachment you’d know the current Wiimote does not allow this. It also features larger 1 & 2 buttons which should enhance classic gaming, as well as help parents find the right button to press. Other than that, it’s your basic Wiimote: wireless, built-in speaker, infrared and motion sensing. Nyko brought a handfull of gadgets to display at CES but, this is the one that seems a winner to me. It releases in April and no price has been announced.
