House of the Dead owns a special place in my heart. While others were at the arcade pumping quarters into Tekken or Street Fighter, I was lined up at the HOTD 2 machine. Whether it be $2 or $20, I would have to spend it all in some zombie slaying lightgun action. Well, now the game is coming to the Wii, so get ready for more lightgun-esque awesomeness! The game is taking on a grindhouse theme this go round, and I can say that judging by the videos I’ve seen, it works. You’ll be stepping into the shoes of Agent G during his rookie year, what an initiation he receives! The game’s going to take you to a mental hospital, swamp and what may be the scariest Carnival ever. Luckily for all of us, the game is right around the corner and should hit next week. Enjoy the latest developer diary below, it focuses on the graphics of the game and the way they pushed the Wii.
