The walkthrough and interviews are all done by design director, David Pellas. In them he touches on everything from the opening cinematic to multiplayer modes to weapons in the game. He also showcases more gameplay then we’ve ever been privy to. You know what, there are 5 videos which add up to about 20 minutes or so of drool-inducing viewing pleasure. The first 3 videos are going to be the walkthrough of the single player campaign, the final two will be the interview in which Pellas mainly discusses Multiplayer… Enjoy!
IGN recently sat down with one of the games producers and its creative officer. The interview doesn’t really give us anything new but elaborates on some things people may be curious about. The Conduit places you in the well trained shoes of secret service Agent Ford. The man is your typical clean cut order following American, just the sort of man The Trust could use. The Trust is the shadow government behind our own. Not very much is known about The Trust, other than they have been playing puppet master for quite some time. If you are a conspiracy theorist, think of The Trust as the Illuminati. They are the ones who are truly running the show. The deeper into the game you delve, the more secrets about The Trust that Agent Ford will uncover.
For those who are drooling in anticipation over The Conduit (I’m on that list), a new developer diary video has been released talking some more about the game. -conduit-developers-diary-part-2#more-793" class="more-link">(more…)
New York Comic-Con 09 was last week and the games were in full swing. Unfortunately for me I was unable to attend. But, many other gaming sites were represented and I’ve been taking notes. One of the games on display was the amazing looking Wii title, The Conduit. The Conduit splashed on the scene at E3 because of it’s beautiful graphics. The developers have seemingly pushed everything out of the Wii that they could, and so far the results look amazing. You may remember the video I posted a week or so ago showing off how much has been updated since they started, and it was work that was very well done. The team at High Voltage Software are committed to giving Wii owners an FPS that is unlike anything the Wii has seen. The Conduit boasts fully customizable HUD, control schemes, multiplayer, and the ability to save and share your favorite control setups with others via the Wii Network. I can honestly say, that this is one FPS that I am very much looking forward to. At Comic-Con the developers put on a nice walkthrough of the title, and our friends at GameTrailers were there to film and put it up for all to see. Enjoy the video below my friends.
I’ve not done anything on The Conduit yet, so today is as good as any to get the first post on High Voltage Software’s anticipated FPS up for your enjoyment. The Conduit turned heads at E3 this year because it looked beautiful. There were reports saying that the effects and graphics the game presented were nearing 360 or PS3 standards. Now, I don’t think we’re talking MGS4 or Gears of War 2 but, the game did look great. Now, if the game looked great way back in July of last year, you’d imagine that it’s looking even better these days, right? Well luckily our friends over at GameTrailers have a nifty little video to show you exactly how much better this game is looking. With another 6 months or so before the game is set to release, I’m thoroughly excited to see what the final release will look and play like.
