Pokemon Platinum for DS Q&A

GameSpot chats with Takeshi Kawachimaru and Junichi Masuda about the upcoming Pokemon game for Nintendo DS.

Platinum Card

Check out the action in the upcoming Pokemon Platinum for DS.

The Pokemon phenomenon continues to roll on. Eleven years after the U.S. release of Pokemon Red & Blue on the original Game Boy, the series is stronger than ever. Pokemon Platinum is the upcoming release on the Nintendo DS platform after a string of hits that included Diamond, Pearl, and the two Pokemon Dungeon games. Still, with so many Pokemon games out there, it might be tough for the developers to find new directions for the series, right? We put that question, and a few others, to two of the main forces behind Pokemon Platinum: game director Junichi Masuda and game designer Takeshi Kawachimaru.

Evolution of Jack from MadWorld for Wii

Posted under Nintendo Wii

It would be an understatement to say that MadWorld is one of the most anticipated games releasing this year on the Nintendo Wii. Mini Ninjas Attack in Fall

Posted under Wii Game Releases

Yesterday I found a trailer for a game that made me watch it twice. The reason I needed to watch it twice was to try and wrap my head on exactly how this title has not been talked about. Mini Ninjas is a game in development by Eidos and IO Interactive, the teams that brought you the Hitman series. While there is certainly not a plethora of information on the game, IGN tells us that in the game you will play Hiro, a young ninja who can harness magic and the abilities of his companions. Hiro will be battling it out against the Evil Samurai Warlord in his Fortress of Doom, seriously epic names. The screens that I’ve seen all look great, although this being a multiplatform game, there is no telling which console they are taken from. There is also no news on any Wii exclusive type of gameplay. Let’s hope that in the coming months more and more information is available leading up to it’s Fall ‘09 release. For now, enjoy the trailer below.
