Great Nintendo Accessories You Must Try

Nintendo Wii is the one of the most advanced home gaming consoles in the world. In order to be able to enjoy it, though, you will need to invest in some accessories. They are sold separately so that you only pay for those items which you will use. To help you save money, though, you may consider buying bundle packs. These are groups of accessories for the Nintendo Wii packaged and sold together as one unit. You will generally find that the cost of them are less than buying each accessory separately.

The Nintendo Wii accessories you must have :

Wii remote (Wiimote)

The remote has wireless functions and works using a short-range Bluetooth radio. The Wii remote is multi-functional and allows multiple use, can be used horizontally, or like a steering wheel. The Wii remote can sense movement and orientation. The remote can identify linear motion along three axes. The remote controls cannot be calibrated manually and gamers have to make do with Wii’s calibrations.

How To Be A Video Gamer But Spend Less Money

Posted under Video Games

If you haven’t looked at the cost of new computer or video games and gaming systems as a whole recently, you might be in for a shock. Today’s games and gaming systems can run from a meager $30 all the way to a whopping four hundred dollars or more. To parents of a game obsessed teenager, the costs can be astronomical and nothing short of frightening. Fortunately the cost of buying quality computer or video games (including the systems that they run on) can be significantly reduced once you know what to do and where to look.

One alternative to funding a gaming pursuit with a second mortgage is to “go old.” By “going old,” we mean buying last month’s or year’s games and game systems. If you could admit the one truth that we all know, but never readily face, you could literally save hundreds of dollars in an instant. This truth is that unless you’re a millionaire, none of us can afford to buy the latest toy on the market. The ugly fact behind that truth is that within a relatively short amount of time (say, 60-90 days?), that latest toy will be replaced with a new and improved system, which consequently, grants access to what was wanted in the first place – at half the price! So go old and have a little patience. Within about three to four months, you will have made a tremendous saving.

Nintendo Wii Console

Posted under Nintendo Wii,Wii News

Recently released video game console sales numbers show that the Wii console has positively controlled the console computer game market in 2008. Essentially the Wii console has outpaced the contest by at considerable margin. Essentially the NPD reports that in 2008 10.8 million, yes million, Wii consoles were sold. In comparison the Xbox 360 sold 4.74 million units, and the PlayStation 3 sold 3.55 million units. For those who are not great at math look at it this way, there were more Wii console units sold than both Xbox 360′s and PlayStation 3′s combined.

It has long been a parable that Wii console sales don’t directly represent gamers interest in the Wii console itself thanks to the speculation that gamers do not continue to play games on the console after the 1st purchase and novelty price has worn off. To combat this idea it should be noted that the Wii console is in charge of the top 4 selling games of 2008, with the number one selling game being Wii Play, which moved a respectable 5.28 million copies.
