Play Classic Nintendo Video Games Free

Posted under Nintendo

Yes, it’s true, you can play the original classic Nintendo 8-bit video games online for free without downloading anything. Just head over to http://nintendo8.com and play your favorite classic Nintendo game.

I just got done playing one of my all-time favorites, Tecmo Super Bowl. I can tell it has been a very long time since I have played because I wasn’t nearly as good as I used to be. I almost lost! But I was alright once I got back in the groove of my childhood days.

Brings me back to the good old days when games were so much simpler but seemed to be a lot more fun. The original Nintendo will always be my favorite gaming system!

Golden Sun DS Nintendo Press Conference Trailer Impressions

Nintendo teases us with a short trailer for the upcoming role-playing game sequel.

Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance and its sequel offered some of the finest role playing available for the system. Today, Nintendo announced Golden Sun DS at its E3 2009 press conference and showed off some unmercifully brief footage in trailer form. Even though we know next to nothing about this upcoming role-playing game, we were still excited to get glimpses of what we can look forward to when it is released.

The trailer showed various quick-cutting scenes and began as the camera panned across the landscape. The Sun Rises Again splashed across the screen, and we saw glimpses of crystal-infused mountains, as well as dragons fighting across the Nintendo DS’s multiple screens. In another moment, a female character flew through the skies on a gleaming winged horse while bright arrows rained down from above. Could there be a dragon versus Pegasus battle in the works? We can only hope!

We’ll have to wait awhile before Golden Sun DS arrives on store shelves: It will be released in 2010. Until then, Nintendo Games Center will bring you information on this welcome sequel for the Nintendo DS as it becomes available.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Interview Video

Posted under Wii Game Videos

Shattered Memories is said to sport an overhaul in graphics as well as gameplay.

In the interview below the developers talk about trying to make the game even scarier, allowing for a more distinct type of play. They’ve thrown out the usual menu system for the ever popular cellphone. One cool thing is that the action keeps happening, so you could pull your phone out to check the map and when you put it back you’ve got some creepy ghost thing about to do very bad things to you. Yeah, this is a true survivor-horror game for the Wii.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is set to scare worldwide sometime in Q3 of this year. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this title here at Nintendo Games Center. In the meantime, enjoy the video interview below which is chock full of some nice screen caps.
