I’m not sure if it’s just tricks my mind is playing on me, but it seems like there’s been a ton of Sonic and the Black Knight trailers popping up. More so than most games. I’m not complaining, but SEGA has released another trailer for Sonic and the Black Knight. (more…)
Today’s WiiShop downloads couldn’t be more different if they tried. LIT is a horror/puzzle game releasing on the WiiWare. You have to battle through a dark, and possessed high school by strategically utilizing light switches to vanquish your foes.
MERCS, is an action game that was released on the Sega Genesis. The premise is as basic as it gets. You play as a team of MERCS, sent into a battlefield to vanquish some terrorists. (more…)
Well, this game was rumored, then it was confirmed. Can’t say I’m surprised at all by this, but I am hyped on it. The first Mario & Sonic Olympics was an amazingly fun title. A few weeks ago I posted a trailer up about Sonic: The Black Knight. I was, and still am, a bit iffy on whether this game will actually be any good. Of course, I am a bit biased due to the hours I spent on my Genesis playing the original Sonic the Hedgehog. Generally, I’m not exactly sure how I feel about complete overhauls of a franchise. Yes, I know that it was needed and the gaming market is different, but Sonic is a well known and highly loved character. Putting him in an action/adventure title is something I see as borderline blasphemous. However, the game is set to drop on March 3, so Sega has released a new all gameplay trailer. It actually looks pretty good. I really liked the way the cut scene seemed to look, and the speed of it seemed in keeping with Sonic tradition. Hopefully, this game is good, or at least ok. If not, I fear that Sonic may be seeing his final days and will be relegated to being a guest or co-star of other titles.
