Earlier, I had posted about Shia Labeouf bashing the Wii,  now, there’s another Transformers star who has mentioned the Nintendo Wii in an interview. If the picture or post title didn’t give away who it is, let’s say the person sounds much more adept and intelligent towards gaming, and is someone who’s picture I enjoyed putting on the site. Of course, I enjoy the picture more for the car as I’m a huge Camaro fan. In fact, the new Camaro in the movie is downright sweet!

Anyway, the star is Megan Fox. Megan was interviewed by WhatTheyPlay, and after reading the interview I hold a new found respect for the actress.

A lot of parents feel that video gaming is a bad thing for children. They say they spend too much indoors doing nothing, that it rots their brain, that it stunts their mental growth. You see all the negatives of video games played out in the media. They blame everything wrong with an abnormal kid with tons of underlying problems solely on the effect of video games. None of that is fair at all. Nothing could be further from the truth (ok, except maybe the staying inside part, but hey, there are worse things). I’m sure that in reality you don’t really think someone who hauls off and shoots their classmates is really the way they are because they decided to play a video game, do you? Video games just really aren’t that bad for kids.

Even those who enjoy playing video games from time to time know what a hassle it is when their software becomes damaged. Most of the time games have to feel the wear and tear of life. After a period video games that have cost a fortune can’t even be utilized anymore. Is paying those high prices for your favorite games worth it? It absolutely is, but it isn’t worth only being able to play those games for a moderate amount of time. Making backups of your favorite Nintendo Wii games is the only worthwhile solution to this horrible truth. A dream has become reality. It is now possible to make copies of your Wii games easily!

One of the most exciting new video consoles on the market is without a doubt Nintendo Wii. The games are accessible through the use of a disc, and anyone who has ever used CD’s, DVD’s, or CD-Rom software knows that it is incredibly hard to keep the discs from getting damaged. No matter how hard people try to be careful with them, it seems the slightest contact can grind damaging scratches into the software. Considering that the cost of these games are quite expensive, making a backup seems like the only logical choice.

The Ghostbusters have had a couple amazing movies and an awesome cartoon to boot. Something that, to date, only The Transformers have been able to pull off successfully. Now, the team are taking on video games. Personally, it’s always been a dream of mine to have my own proton pack with blaster. I think I even had a toy one as a kid if memory serves correct. Well, thanks to Nintendo and our beloved Wii, my dreams may finally come true. If you’ve been paying attention, and I like to think you have, then you know that Ghostbusters: The Video Game is written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis as a third installment to the film series. The original cast is returning to the film as well. Oh, maybe I should mention that the lovely Samantha Micelli aka Alyssa Milano is also going to be starring in the game. Yeah, things are getting serious. Thankfully, there’s a nice 3 minute gameplay video that I’m going to post for you below. Ghostbusters: The Video Game is being developed by Red Fly Studios, the crew that brought us Mushroom Men so I’m guessing we can count on it being quite good. At least, as long as we don’t cross streams… Enjoy!

Many people believe that the current generation of consoles provides the most evenly matched competition from the products released by the big entertainment companies in the history of video games. The disparity in terms of processing power and depth of game libraries isn’t that big when it comes to the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. And though the Nintendo Wii is gravely trailing in the graphics and processing power departments, it more than makes up for its shortcomings by giving gamers a unique experience they will never find anywhere else.

And gamers have made a decision. As of this writing, almost 3 years worth of sales data reveal that the Nintendo Wii is outselling the Xbox 360 and the PS3 combined.
