Dead Space Extraction Nintendo Wii Updated Impressions

We head deeper into the USG Ishimura in our latest hands-on look at EA’s Wii-exclusive sci-fi horror game.

The bad news only gets worse for the USG Ishimura in the upcoming Wii-exclusive Dead Space Extraction from EA’s Visceral Games development studio. This platform-exclusive survival horror game functions as both a prequel and side story to the acclaimed Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 original. We’ve seen the game a number of times so far (most recently, at GamesCom 2009), and yesterday, EA dropped by with an updated build of the game to show off a new level and give GameSpot an exclusive peek at the first boss in the game.

Pop ‘n Music Nintendo Wii Hands-On

Posted under Wii Game Previews

The popular Japanese arcade game series finally crosses the Pacific and finds a home on the Nintendo Wii.

The rhythm games just keep on coming, but Pop ‘n Music isn’t exactly something new. This music series has been around in Japan since 1998 and will be appearing in North America for the first time on the Nintendo Wii. Namco Wii Dance Mat Game coming to Europe

Atari is going to bring the Namco Bandai-developed Family Trainer to Europe this September.

This is the Wii-exclusive title that comes with its own dance mat for “total body gameplay”, according to this press release. It’s called Active Life: Athletic World in the US.

Family Trainer has you doing all sorts of things like rafting on the river, racing mine carts, jumping over logs or just skipping ropes. You can do it on your own because you’d rather no one watch, or with and against friends because you are drunk and have given up caring. All on one mat.
