Wii Online Games: Get Downloads For Wii Games

Posted under Nintendo Wii

Wii online games are available on many different sites. Some of the games are free for a short trial period, after which you must pay a fee. Some of the games are just a small fee each time you play. And some of the sites feature a small monthly fee that gives you unlimited downloads with no certain restrictions of any sorts. I came across a simple site while trying to figure out what sites were legal and legitimate as well. This one site reviewed the top 3 Wii Sites you can download games from. I decided to try out their highest rated pick and see for myself. The software was a download and easy to get so I was also able to start getting games and some good music almost immediately.

Downloading Wii games is available for every skill set and age level – and it is especially worth looking into for children whose taste and interests change by the hour if not more often. Today’s Punch-Out!! fan is tomorrow’s Hannah Montana devotee. Paying premium prices for Wii games for your child who will only play them once or twice makes no sense at all. If you do plan on paying for a premium membership on a game site, make sure there are many options to choose from, and do not get cheated into paying for more than a month at a time. Also make sure that you understand the cancellation process clearly so that downloading these games does not cost you more than you bargained for.

Students who want to try a recently released video game without buying the whole kit and caboodle before knowing what it is like need not travel to Blockbuster.

GameFly, an online video game rental service, launched its G-Box Kiosk on Wednesday in the Barnes & Noble campus bookstore located in the Student Union Building – the first of its kind at colleges and universities across the nation.

“The kiosk program is a way to extend the GameFly universe into the physical world,” said Sean Spector, co-founder and senior vice president of business development and content for GameFly.

The kiosk, a machine where video games can be rented, allows people to walk up and browse games by genre, click to choose one, swipe a card, and walk away with a newly-released game, he said. Each machine holds several hundred games and the number of games available will grow in the future.

Nintendo Wii Console

Recently released video game console sales numbers show that the Wii console has positively controlled the console computer game market in 2008. Essentially the Wii console has outpaced the contest by at considerable margin. Essentially the NPD reports that in 2008 10.8 million, yes million, Wii consoles were sold. In comparison the Xbox 360 sold 4.74 million units, and the PlayStation 3 sold 3.55 million units. For those who are not great at math look at it this way, there were more Wii console units sold than both Xbox 360′s and PlayStation 3′s combined.

It has long been a parable that Wii console sales don’t directly represent gamers interest in the Wii console itself thanks to the speculation that gamers do not continue to play games on the console after the 1st purchase and novelty price has worn off. To combat this idea it should be noted that the Wii console is in charge of the top 4 selling games of 2008, with the number one selling game being Wii Play, which moved a respectable 5.28 million copies.
